Behind Nigh

I am Roxan, mother of 3, working in the fashion industry with a big interest in flea markets, antiques, jewels, trims and trinkets.

In my spare time I love to spend time modelling wax to jewellery. I never have a thought through plan when starting to scalp the wax. This and the the Cire-Perdue method ( lost wax casting) method gives me the opportunity to give each piece a unique outlook. As the wax will melt away when it gets in touch with the fluid gold or silver.

When fascinated by a symbol I love to explore the history and use of these. This and for sure the old Greek and Roman, the Etruscan and more inspire me endlessly.

I'm just so fascinated by the symbolism of jewels from ancient history
